Personality portraits are my absolute favorite type of session. Why? Let me show you....

They're Simple...


It's just your child, a plain backdrop, and their personality. There's no fancy props, no super stiff posing, just lots of giggles, fart jokes, and maybe some threats of tickles. You absolutely can bring favorite toys, books, or whatever to add some extra memories!

They're Fun!


There's nothing I love more than interacting with the kiddos and learning how their little brains work. Sometimes kids are just serious, other times they make silly faces and are completely unserious.


The best is when these two kids are siblings, like Nick and Aiden.

They're Customizable


I did all these recent sessions on a dark gray backdrop, because I love how graphic it looks. However, you can pick any color you want. I have two shades of gray, white, two shades of green, blue, and pink. Plus, I'm always looking for a reason to grab a new color!


Plus, you can go simple with their outfits or dress them up! The possibilities are endless.

They're Timeless


Other than maybe the outfits, these photos are going to age really well.

You can bring your furry friend!


I make it no secret that my studio is in my living room, and that I have cats. They won't come downstairs during your session. So, as long as your pet doesn't have a high prey drive, I'm more than ok with you bringing them!

Retro is SO in right now, and film makes me so happy.
