I met this sweet family when my son played soccer with their two sons. Our kids got along right away, and the rest is history. We played a few years with them, and we remain in touch even though they no longer play soccer together.
I've been trying to talk them into family photos for a while since they hadn't had any taken in a very, very long time. We just could never line up our schedules. They are VERY active in the community, three kids with multiple activities each. When she asked if we could do a beach session the first week of school - so the kids' hair was freshly braided - I couldn't say no! Besides, there was a location I wanted to check out. So off we went to 58th Street Beach in Ocean City, New Jersey. It was gorgeous, not to busy, and clean. It might be my new favorite location.
I talked them into wearing my favorite beach color combination, blue and pink. It helped that the boys had those awesome shirts that incorporated those two colors. Helping pick out outfits is in my job description. Please never be afraid to ask my opinion!
