My second favorite flower ever is the Sunflower. It was my all time favorite until I discovered the Himalayan Blue Poppy, but that's a topic for another time. I love sunflower, sunflower farms, sunflower print clothes, sunflower everything. When I was in high school, I wore the Sunflower perfume by Elizabeth Arden. They've always been one of my things.
It's no wonder that one of my favorite things to photograph is sunflower sessions. I spent a few years before I really threw myself into portrait photography photographing sunflowers alone... now I can add some super adorable kids and families. It just makes my heart happy thinking about it.
I do have access to two private sunflower fields, both of which also offer wildflowers or zinnias, through the end of September. One is Turkey Trac Farms in Millville, New Jersey. The other is Ward's Farm in Salem, New Jersey.
I'm currently offering sessions at these two farms, but am open to other fields if there's one closer to you! Sessions are $250 for a 30ish minute session that includes choice of 10 digital downloads. As always, you can purchase more digitals for $20 or upgrade to the full gallery for only $250 (this usually ends up being a pretty big discount!)
