Seven years ago, a friend of a friend opened a salon and another friend started working there. Ha. I know that sounds confusing, but it was the start of something great. I've gotten to know Toni, the salon owner, a bit over the years, and I can honestly say she's an awesome person. A lot has happened over the last seven years: covid, a salon remodel, and almost three kids.
Of course, I started going to the salon to support my friend, Kristen. She's the magic behind my teal hair, although we've done many other colors in the past! I've had my hair done by a few of the other ladies who work there, and I'm always more than happy with the results. They all understand that I'm not the best at styling my hair or making time for myself, and have been more than accommodating in styles to fit my needs.
Toni recently reached out to ask about headshots and group photos for the salon's website, and of course I said yes. They had a ton of new staff who didn't have photos yet, and she just wanted an update. We had originally planned for the beach, but weather and time constraints had us coming up with a Plan B. We decided on a sunflower field located in Monroeville, New Jersey. The blooms were perfect and matched their outfit choices perfectly!
